Inaugural Rush Hall of Fame
Members of So Cal Rush, coaches, and senior Zoe Brannon gathered on May 22, 2018 for what most thought was going to be an encouraging speech from the graduating senior. Zoe, as well as most of the visitors in attendance, were surprised when Technical Director, Ramo Badohoun, announced that we had actually gathered for a different reason. Zoe was instead recognized and officially inducted into the inaugural So Cal Rush Hall of Fame! Coach Ramo shared that Zoe had joined the club in 2009, even before it was So Cal Rush, and has loyally stayed with the club through many challenging, as well as, triumphant years. Zoe was recognized for her perseverance, determination, grit, positive attitude, strong work ethic, and- as mentioned earlier- her loyalty to the club. Coaches, friends, and family members shared stories that further demonstrated Zoe’s special qualities, her character, and the fact that Zoe is beyond well-deserving of the honor. It was very clear that Zoe not only respects the Rush core values, she lives them daily on and off the field.

Zoe will be attending Grand Canyon University in the fall to major in the area of Nursing/Physician’s Assistant. Sadly, she has a shoulder injury that will require extensive surgery and rehab. Zoe was quick to share that even though she is injured, her exceptional grades helped her still acquire an academic scholarship for college. She looks forward to playing again and is exploring options for coaching while she attends college and heals. Soccer has been such an important part of her life! She will stay connected in one way or another. Congratulations, Zoe! We know you will continue to do great things in life!
