G01’s: So Cal Winter Cup Champions!

The G01’s have added another championship to their list of accomplishments! The ladies hit the field after winter break came to an end and the high school season closed. As usual, they came out strong, tenacious, and determined!
Pool play resulted in two wins, a 2-1 win against Beach FC (the soccer club hosting the tournament) and a 2-0 win against Central California Aztecs. The G01’s then faced United Santa Clarita in the semi-final. They pulled out a close 1-0 win to advance to the finals. The second semi-final resulted in a Beach FC win. A rematch was in store and it was likely a rematch Beach FC had hoped for. The So Cal Rush G01’s proved to be too powerful. Rush came out on top with a strong 3-1 finish in the finals. The G01’s secured the 2018 So Cal Winter Cup Championship. Congratulations, G01’s
