2017 Rush Select

Several So Cal Rush players earned the opportunity to attend Rush Select ID Camp in Casa Grande, Arizona in November, 2017. Once a year, Rush players hope to receive an invitation to ID Camp. Players from around the world are scouted to form Rush “all star” teams that will participate in a variety of national and international events. Each club’s Technical Director recommends potential players for the program. Rush Select staff evaluate the recommendations, then send out invitations. The Rush Select teams are constantly evolving. Players come and go as the team ages up, so players have new opportunities each year.

The three day camp allows Rush Select staff to train and evaluate players. The ID camp gives Select coaches a more thorough picture of each player rather than just using recommendations from the clubs. This process ensures that the staff chooses the very best from each group. The Rush Select Program fosters lifelong bonds, introduces a new level of play, and creates a deeper understanding of what it means to be a special part of the largest youth soccer organization in the world.
