Profile: George is the founder of Ath-Elites Sports Performance Training, where athletes learn to reach their winning potential. The training is focused on the five major components of winning performance: strength, conditioning, speed, agility, and plyometrics. George has worked in past years with professional volleyball players Misty May and Kerri Walsh, as well as athletes from Jr. High to D-1 colleges. George has worked with other independent organizations such as Spring Valley Lake Little League, Starlings Volleyball and Maverick’s Baseball.

Athletic History: George played college baseball at Miracosta College in Oceanside, CA. He was invited to tryouts with the Cincinnati Reds and Texas Rangers, and was offered a chance to play in their rookie leagues.

Accomplishments: Along with performance training, George helps athletes and teams with the sports psychology techniques and philosophies found in his book, 10 Traits of Winning Athletes. His philosophy is to avoid goal-setting, as this is rarely beneficial to athletes. George teaches athletes to have winning destinations, and do whatever it takes to get there. Those athletes who apply this idea are the ones who really begin to win.
